Britt-Marie Trace and Bomb Shelter Rehearsal Studios are going to be featured in OC Metro Magazine on January 4th, in their "Women in Business" section. It will be available to view online on the 4th of January at www.ocmetro.com.
You might notice that OC Metro is a business magazine and not a music magazine...and I'm really excited about that. Women in the music business still are generally unrecognized for their contributions to this industry. I have been serving musicians here in Orange County for 7 years now and am proud to still be in business and going strong. OC Metro tends to cover "typical" business stuff, so I'm glad to give them a little "alternative" to their usually traditional menu. I'd like other women (and men) to know that there are lots of opportunities out there, and with a dream, some passion and a lot of hard work you can be successful too. My Dad gave me a great piece of advice when I was younger, and I have used it in every aspect of my life. He said, "Always create options for yourself."
I am excited about what 2007 has in store, as Bomb Shelter continues to grow and expand what we offer to musicians. Share in my excitement and check out the article when it hits both the newsstand and the internet. I'm sure I'll post it here somewhere on the web site too!
