There have been a few things people have asked about here at the studios, and we do listen. Here are some of the things we will be doing to add to your positive experiences here at Bomb Shelter.
Vending Machine...we have had our Coke machine here for a long time, and it's been pretty lonely by itself. This Tuesday May 1st, we will be adding a snack vending machine with chips, candy, cookies, and other drinks like Monster, Rockstar, chocolate milk, juices, etc. So if you're coming straight from work or need a little pick me up, we've got you covered.
Coffee Machine...In addition to the vending machine we have an even cooler brand new coffee machine that is absolutely amazing, and the coffee is fantastic. It does everything for you, all you do is push the one button for your coffe selection! There are 8 selections that include two non coffee beverages for those who are not coffee people.
This particular machine is made by Saeco, which is an internationally recognized name, providing similar machines to companies such as Starbuck's. There are 8 selections on this easy to use unit, in addition to two selectors that let you choose either more or less sugar. Inside the machine is everything needed for the perfect cup of coffee. The beans are stored whole inside the machine, ground only when you make a selection on the front. Cups, stir-sticks, creamer, sugar, chocolate, everything is mixed only once you make your selection, which results in one hot, fresh cup of JAVA!

This coffee machine kicks butt! Everyone has been raving about it, and it is WAYYYY better than Starbuck's, and MUCH less expensive! Yay! The two basic coffee selections (gourmet black coffee and coffee with cream) will remain FREE, but the rest of the selections will sell for just $1.00. Make sure you try one of each while you're here. You can't get a cup of coffee this good for anything close to a buck at any chain coffee stores, or even anywhere for that matter.
Come rehearse here, our coffee machine is cooler than theirs! Wait till we get going on the weekend barbecues here shortly, you'll never want to leave..........
Audio Stuff...
I've had a few people make two requests about the P.A.'s we have in our first four rooms. The first request was to be able to turn up the volume of the floor monitors seperately from the main monitors, or vice versa. The second request was to have the speakers wired in stereo instead of mono, so that you can pan things left or right without losing them. Mainly for keyboard players or those who bring in tracks on their computer. I am happy to accomodate those requests, as they have already been in the works. We should be able to have those two requests completed in the next week or so, ready for use.
Just a reminder on studio stuff as well, don't forget we have upgraded our recording studio with some amazing gear, as well as outfitted the showcase room to be able to record in it. Check out www.bombshelterrecording.com for details.
Miscellaneous...
We have installed some additional lighting out in front of our building here to help illuminate the parking lot better in the evening. We feel that it will help everyone as they are moving gear in and out of the studios, as well as deter any would be thieves or anyone else from messing with vehicles that are parked out here in the evening hours. We have had two instances of cars that have been keyed here in the parking lot recently, but have never had any problems either before or after.
Let's just all help each other keep an eye on things, and make sure to let us know if you ever see anything suspicious.
