Well, I just wanted to take a minute and thank Chuck and Kristine for holding their second OC Guitar Club meeting here at Bomb Shelter. I had a great time meeting everyone that came, and those that did attend really seemed to have a great time as well. The showcase room was set up with drums and a bass amp, and those that played guitar brought their own guitar amps. There was some bass instruction as well as guitar instruction by Chuck, and they had a band come in and add to the evening's line up. They had snacks as well as soda, coffee, and hot water for tea, that everyone enjoyed. It was a great way for their members to meet in a musical environment and to have new people exposed to the rehearsal studios here, what a win win deal! I'm excited to continue to host their club meetings and I think that the next one is in the works for March 3, 2007. Check back for details, or you can go to www.myspace.com/ocguitarclub.
